OBX Part 1

Phew! This past week David and I stayed (with a few friends) at a beach house in Outerbanks. Boy are we spent! I'm going to split this post into two parts since I have a bit to share.

Here's a video I took on the front porch. Most days there were cloudy/rainy.

On one of the warmer nights we witnessed something pretty cool:

We only got to really enjoy the beach for one day. And of course, we all got horribly sun burnt. But it was really nice to be there and lie in the sun.

We also went to an aquarium. It was a bit small and kinda depressing, but I was very happy about the turtle exhibit.

Birchbox: Box 4

Lush review

I went to Lush for the first time and boy did I have fun! I got such great goodies!

Twilight: This was my favorite scent, hands down. However! It contains glitter, so once you get out of the bath you look like you were either clubbing or playing with crafts. I really hate the glitter, so I won't buy it again.

Sex bomb: Lovely scent but nothing too impressive.

Geo Phyzz: Love this scent! Plus it contains all kinds of goodies for your body.

French Kiss: This was a bubble bar, and man did it make bubbles! They were so fun! It also smelled amazing and the best part was how silky smooth my skin was after. I plan to get many more of these.

Hottie massage bar: Reeeeeally happy with this! It does wonders for the muscles, and I love the scent. The nubs go down pretty fast, that's the only bummer. 

My friend Nya got me some other Lush products for my birthday so once I'm done trying them all I'll review them too!

Grad ball

Last night was UMW's Grad ball, and it pretty much sucked. However we had a good time being with friends and the free food was yummy. Here's two pics of us:)

I thought this was super adorable and I had to share:

I've been meaning to write about my birthday (April 21). I had a bunch of friends over for a picnic (in the garage since it was raining). We had sloppy joes, pasta salad, chips and salsa, and plenty of drinks. It was pretty fun, and though it didn't go quite how I planned I was very glad to get to hang with my friends. With everyone graduating soon it's going to be harder to plan get-togethers. So I think we're all trying to hang out as much as possible before that happens.

This coming Thursday is the Grad Ball at UMW. I'll make sure to take pictures!

And then Saturday David graduates! With honors! How cool is that?! Man he's such a smarty.

And then we're going to Outerbanks! We've rented a house with a couple other friends and we'll be gone for the week. I'm so excited!

Spring Formal

Friday was Mary Washington's spring formal. Though the getting there part was pretty awful, the actual dance was a blast. Many of our friends were there(AJ, Phillip, Jordin, Joe, Megan) and we had such a fun time together. The dance was at a country club, so we had a really delicious dinner. We were worried at first because the Dj was just playing slow jazz, but then after the meal he played hip hop and we danced for the rest of the night. It's been 4 years since I've been to a dance, and oh man, have I missed it. The next day I was so sore, and I still am. But it felt awesome, and because I enjoy it so much, I'm going to try to dance more often just around the house. It's a good work out and it doesn't seem to give me flare ups.
